The event space on the 3rd floor, BLOOM GATE, which features a large screen, will be the stage for a program that is different from the main activities (A side) and the main business.
"SIDE-B" is a project that brings together artists and creators with "B-side" talent, as well as workers in Shibuya!
This time, a special spring festival similar to a music festival will be held, triggered by the Shibuya Sakura Festival 2025, which will involve local residents, resident companies, tenants, creators, and the media.
It's three days of fun for the whole family to dance and have fun, with live performances by artists from the domestic and international indie scene, DJs, unique art and miscellaneous goods, a market packed with records, and carefully selected coffee and beer.

What is SIDE-B?
"A suit-wearing company employee by day, but a DJ and composer by night," "That VTuber and Vocaloid producer is actually a serious university student," "A shop assistant and dancer, or more like a TikToker," etc. We support people who have a "B-side" that is different from their usual work or main activities. Utilizing "BLOOM GATE," which has two large screens, this project fosters new culture and co-creates a community.

The first day will be curated by the creative collective "wau," which has been attracting attention from all quarters as a label that leads the next generation with its unique creativity. Live performances will include Lil Summer, Ámina, and Julia Takada, and DJs Kota Matsukawa, Sakepnk, and Ryuju Tanoue, creating a genre-less, independent space.

On the second day, TOKYO ALTER MUSIC will be the selector and will host a wide variety of showcases including conferences, live music and DJ sets, bringing you a day to imagine an alternative future.
On the final day, BIG ROMANTIC RECORDS, a label based in Tokyo and Taipei that aims to develop indie culture around the world, will be hosting a live show and DJ set to brighten up the spring. Joanna Wang, MIZ, Kimyo Reitaro, PAHUMA and other amazing artists are scheduled to perform!

Also running throughout the three days will be the "Culture Convenience Market", which will bring together unique miscellaneous goods, vintage clothing, and records, and the "Mirage Coffee & Bar", where you can find sweets that are sure to sell out and a blissful drink.
From children to adults, enjoy live music, DJs, and markets with a special drink in hand. Just 10 seconds walk from Shibuya Station, on a hill filled with culture and falling cherry blossom petals, new encounters await you that may become your future "A-side." Enjoy 3 days of festival-like fun!

TOKYO ALTER MUSIC SHOWCASE

TOKYO ALTER MUSIC, the organizer of the "TOKYO ALTER MUSIC AWARD" which recognizes alternative and independent music artists and people, will act as the selector and hold a talk session, live performance, and DJ showcase. The talk session will feature key figures supporting Japan's alternative music, which is spreading around the world, with keywords such as "Asia" and "Awards." The live performance will feature musicians who are sure to be of interest in the future.
