The Shibuya 1st ANNIVERSARY PARTY "Shibuya Summer Thanksgiving Festival" will be held from July 12th (Sat) to August 3rd (Sun) 2025.
This summer marks the first anniversary Shibuya Sakura Stage opening on July 25th last year, and the stage will be hosting the Shibuya Summer Thanksgiving Festival, a summer festival where you can cool off and enjoy delicious food during the scorching heat. With gratitude to all the visitors and locals who have visited the stage so far, the stage will be holding various events under the slogan "Let's start expressing our gratitude for the past year here." In addition to a campaign packed with great deals, including a festival, gourmet events, and a large-scale collaboration with "Pokémon Sleep" in cooperation with tenants Square Enix Co., Ltd., Yamaha Corporation, and Tokyu Group facilities around Shibuya Station, a Bon Odori dance and singing contest will be held on July 25th (Friday) and 26th (Saturday).
Please look forward to this new Shibuya summer festival where you can enjoy the coolness of both indoor and outdoor venues.
■ Overview of Tenant Cross-Project
At the Shibuya Summer Festival, about 40 stores at Shibuya Sakura Stage will be using their own unique features to prepare events that will delight customers. Don't miss out on these playful events that will make your daily life and special moments even more fun and affordable!

There are lots of great menus offering new food ideas for you to try on your walk.
Each stall will be offering their own creative take on "amazing street food" for a limited time only.
Standing tables will be set up in various places on the Sakura Stage during the event.

■ Visitor participation projects
We have also decided to hold summer-like events mainly on weekends! On July 25th (Friday) and 26th (Saturday), we will hold a Bon Odori festival and a singing contest titled "BON-ODORI" and "NODO-JIMAN". The music will be arranged so that overseas visitors and people of all ages can enjoy it. With the cooperation of Yamaha Sound Crossing Shibuya's equipment, you can enjoy authentic sounds, as well as a Bon Odori dance performed by a popular DJ, and a singing contest where business people working at Sakura Stage and local residents will take part in the "seriously" singing contest. There are plenty of fun events for participants, and even for those who just want to support the event!
At the outdoor venue, "NIGIWAI STAGE," food stalls will be set up with the cooperation of the Shibuya Ekimae Kyoeikai and Shibuya Ward Sakuragaoka Town Association. All participants in the singing contest will receive a participation prize, and the top winners will receive prizes.
On Sunday, August 3rd, we will hold a full-scale ghost story event, perfect for a summer night, as the finale of the Shibuya Summer Festival! We will provide visitors with a cool nighttime experience with some impressive guests from the world of ghost stories and the occult.

Find it in Shibuya! Pokemon Negao Research Supported by TOKYU GROUP
To celebrate the second anniversary of "Pokémon Sleep," Tokyu Group facilities around Shibuya Station will have sleeping Pokémon decorations and photo spots. Anyone can participate in this event, where you can visit each facility, find a sleeping Pokémon, take a photo, and collect digital stamps to receive an original novelty item.
At the pop-up venue inside BLOOM GATE on the 3rd floor of Shibuya Sakura Stage, which is the finish point, there will be exhibits related to "Pokémon Sleep," original merchandise and drinks for sale, and novelty giveaways.
Sleeping face research spot
A large number of sleeping Pokemon will appear! "Sleeping Face Research Spot" will be introduced. Various sleeping Pokemon will appear at eight Tokyu Group facilities around Shibuya Station. Have fun searching for Pokemon, taking photos, and sharing them.

Pop-up venue
A pop-up venue will be set up inside the event space "BLOOM GATE" on the 3rd floor of Shibuya Sakura Stage. The APN IOWN 1.0 installed at Shibuya Sakura Stage allows you to enjoy conversations and touch as if you were there by transmitting 4K video, audio, and haptics in real time to people in distant locations. You can also experience the latest technologies of the NTT Group that are being exhibited at the Osaka-Kansai Expo.
On July 19th (Sat) and 20th (Sun), there will be a photo session with Myakumyaku, the official mascot of the Osaka-Kansai Expo. In addition, from 2pm on July 21st (Mon), there will also be an online touch event featuring OWV, a talented boy band with a select group of members who are celebrating their 5th anniversary this year.

The facility will host a collaborative café event that will be enjoyed by everyone from beginners to professional drummers, including the world's first experience of the voice-activated drum "VXD," which was jointly developed with drummer Satoshi Yamaguchi (RADWIMPS) and caused a big stir at the facility last year.

▼ "CHEEAT Shooting Gallery" is an exciting festival experience brought to you by cultural spots that share the "feelings" of the whole country.
Cheat Tokyo, a cultural spot that connects cities and regions, will be hosting a festival event called "CHEEAT Shooting Gallery," with the theme of supporting the region and producers. The shooting gallery will be made from Kiso Hinoki cypress from the Kiso region of Nagano Prefecture, where forestry is thriving. The gallery will use "kiso-kit," a self-assembly wooden furniture that does not require metal fittings, made by young woodworkers in Agematsu Town who are involved in woodworking and urban development, to provide a special shooting gallery experience where you can feel the warmth of wood.
This is a festival event that both adults and children can enjoy. In addition, in collaboration with the Kiso region of Nagano Prefecture, products filled with the charms of Kiso will be on sale. During the event, a shooting gallery filled with the scent of Kiso cypress will also be set up as a photo spot, allowing you to take photos of your summer memories.

▼Live painting "Improvised Yokai Mural"
At re-search on the 4th SHIBUYA SIDE, painter and illustrator Goro Nagashima will be doing a live painting session on the theme of "Yokai of Shibuya." You can see the production process up close. How will Nagashima, who has a background in West Coast culture, portray the Japanese themes of "Shibuya" and "Yokai"? Please look forward to it.
The completed works will be on display for about a month. In addition, miscellaneous goods such as fans with a yokai motif, as well as picture books and other publications depicting the Hyakki Yakou and yokai will also be available for purchase.
